Thank you so much for being a great interviewer. You were able to draw from me details of my experiences that I would not have thought important or worth mentioning. You took all theses small details that I tend to sweep across with a broad brush, and organised them into relevant and informative descriptors of my experience and skills. As well as compiling a comprehensive CV, you composed two 8 page submissions addressing key selection criteria for two advanced teaching positions; incorporating a large and varied list of duties and evidence supporting the statement of claims. You classified and categorised all information and examples into important areas for future employers to consider. I presented this for two job applications and was delighted to find that both selection criteria applications secured me very short listed interviews. I then was offered the senior job position of the two that I applied for. This has resulted in a large salary increase that has made the initial investment well worthwhile.
You made me realise that I had experience in areas that I took for granted, yet others were impressed with. Through your interviewing techniques, encouragement and advice, you built my confidence when I reflected on all I had done and learnt. Hi Mandy, Thanks for recently putting together my CV and cover letter. As soon as I received the final copy from you, I sent it off to a prospective employer and within a few hours, I received a phone call asking me to attend an interview. He was so impressed with the CV that despite me not fulfilling the brief for the particular vacant advertised position, he decided to create a job position for me and asked when could I start. I have previously posted a testimonial here in February, and I'm extremely pleased to add that I've been offered and have accepted a fantastic new position which is taking me into the direction I was looking toward, but before engaging Mandy's service and having a professional new CV, never thought was possible.

I would like to write a post to anyone who is thinking of engaging with a CV consultant and to share my story. I would scroll through Seek, thinking "I'd love to apply for that job" or "that sounds like me", but the truth is, it never happened. I would continue on the hamster wheel day in, day out at the same job, while life was passing me by. What stopped me applying for other jobs was my CV, or really the lack of one. Yes I can type, I can string two words together, but not in the professional capacity that Mandy has given me. That's what she is; a professional. We don't cut or style our own hair, we use a hairdresser, an expert! So that's what I did.

To have a professionally drawn up CV is such a great feeling even if you are not desperate to seek employment. It shows you your worth and boosts your self esteem. If nothing else the experience of being in the company of Mandy and the "interview process", in fact I wouldn't really call it that, its not an interview, rather a nice chat in comfortable surroundings with a dear friend that leaves you lifted, and feeling good. The same feeling almost after enjoying a nice bit of "me time"

I am applying for many positions and have been shortisted and undertaken interviews. Agencies have contacted me and immediately they get a measure of my depth of character and capabilities from my CV.
